Anne recalls how long it takes to receive her injections of Botox for excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis).
Anne:
Normally it does not last longer than an hour and that’s the whole checking in with your insurance and everything from the start you walk in the door. It lasts for about half an hour, the actual injections that are injected into your under arms in your armpit. There’s a lot of different glands in there so sometimes it takes more than once for that your very first treatment to go through, just to make sure that you are injecting in the appropriate glands because they are not going to inject in every single one.
It’s just like getting a blood taken, it’s just like a tiny little pinch and three to four times, some people have it done a couple of more glands and some people have it injected a few times less.

You are so brave to share your story. I am going to ask my doctor about this before I go back to work. I have been dealing with it the same amount of time you gave. I am a few months younger than you, so this has really given me hope for this so-long hopeless situation. Thank you, Anne. God bless you as you continue to help others and share your story!
