Rosa recalls what she weighed at her peak and how much she has lost since gastric bypass surgery.

Rosa:
At my heaviest I weighed 245 I can say, and I have lost 100 pounds and it feels great. I mean, there’s no words I can, I feel like jumping out of my skin, that’s how good I feel compared to before and I know that my girls are going to have a mom for a very long time, and my family is going to have me around, not just my girls, my mom, my husband–everybody.

It feels like I have been rewarded from this kind of surgery, which to me, it looks like minor surgery. It can change somebody’s life this big, and not just my life, but my whole entire family’s life. And I look at how do we look at life now than before because not just all the changes I had to make like better changes on how do I eat. My girls are picking it up too; my whole entire family. So I think this is a very good thing for the whole family.
