Rosa recalls when she started to see weight loss results after her gastric bypass procedure.

After I had my surgery, I can start seeing it within a week. I had lost 15 pounds. I was losing more than a pound a day. I mean, it’s amazing. It’s like, after all these years going through all this diet, diet pills and all kinds, and I might lose just only five pounds in the whole month with diets. But with this surgery, I am telling you, I lost more than a pound a day the first week.

It was just unbelievable. I wanted to be weighing myself every single day. No, I didn’t do it because I know that’s not the right thing to do, but it was just like, it felt like instead of eating, everything was just going through me and not gaining anything. Instead of gaining, I am feeling good about myself. I was losing weight. I was finally losing all those pounds that I had for all my entire life.
