What do you know about this skin condition?
I had this since 11 and from then on my life has changed dealing with dry skin, again and again. I barely had a happy social life, growing up with a piece of fish-scale skin in my legs. I became less sporty, afraid to wear jerseys and shorts. I am confined to jeans-t-shirt outfits all my life. I have met all sorts of creams recommended by friends, family, colleagues, and other people who knew about my dry little secret. Lol!
That's how life had been for almost 20 years now, but I just wanna share one thing that happened unexpectedly. It was the last quarter of 2014 when I discovered a good moisturizer. Actually, it's a lotion that has given me effective result. It's called SR Lotion; and because of that, I want to celebrate the soft and smoother skin that I have now. I am more empowered than ever. I should say, good skin adds up to a woman's self-esteem. More power to us!

Hello Delicacyforyou,
Welcome to the EmpowHER community and thank you for sharing a product that works for you.
For the benefit of all our readers, ichthyosis vulgaris is an inherited skin disorder in which dead skin cells accumulate in thick, dry scales on your skin's surface. The scales of ichthyosis vulgaris, sometimes called fish scale disease or fish skin disease, can be present at birth, but usually first appear during early childhood.
