I am curious as to why one never sees a discussion of changing dosage and frequency when the subject of HRT arises. There is no reason why an HRT pill has to be taken daily. The frequency can be reduced to whatever relieves the symptoms. This is true of the dosage as well. Pill cutters are very useful and again, reduce the dosage to whatever relieves the symptoms. I have been taking the lowest dosage availabe every other day for 12 years and regular mamograms indicate no symptoms. When I tried to cut down to every third day my hot flushes returned along with dry vagina. Back to every other day I went. It doesn't have to be an all or nothing proposition

Every person reacts differently to medications as well as has different signs and symptoms of HRT. What works for you may not work for someone else.
Here are some websites I found that may help you.
