September 30, 2010 - 7:27amDid you have any questions or concerns that you would like to share with us?
September 30, 2010 - 1:26pmNo not at this time.Just wanted to let ppl know I'm here and what I have.
October 1, 2010 - 2:26amThe dr called with results but says I don't have sjogren's but yet have all the syptoms. They gave me a B12 shot which they stopped 6 months ago why I don't know.Anyway he says my B12 level is 297 he wants it 400-500.My right arms been numb for a long time.I got the shot and for 2 days it hasn't been numb. Now it is again .He says I'm not anemic.Dr's say it's all in my head.I don't think so.
October 2, 2010 - 3:52amAre you seeing a rheumatologist? Even if you are, I suggest a second opinion. Obviously you are not manipulating your own B12 levels with your magical mind.
How is your neck? Arm numbness can sometimes be related to neck issues. I'm sorry your doctor treated you poorly. Please keep us posted. It took me about 15 years to get diagnosed with RA, in spite of seeing multiple doctors. I finally diagnosed myself and referred myself to a rheumatologist who diagnosed me right away. By then I already had permanent joint deformities. So hang in there and if you know something is wrong, do not give up.
Good luck.
October 2, 2010 - 6:26amThanks Cary,
October 2, 2010 - 6:52amNo I'm not seeing a rheumatologist never had one to refer me too.But I sure do feel like I have sjogren's.
A rheumatologist would treat Sjogren's, and would be the expert on diagnosing it. I suggest you find one in your area and go for a second opinion. Most insurance covers second opinions, and I think it would be well worth it to go. Good luck.
October 2, 2010 - 6:59amThanks I'll look into it right away
October 2, 2010 - 7:14amCary Do I have to referred?? My dr says I don't have it so I don't think he'll refer me.
