I wanted to let everyone know that I have lived with this for over 30yrs I just never gave it any thought because of the type of work I did waitering ,bartender and cook so as a result of not eating properly hurrying to eat and way to much drinking and smoking at a younger age was unknowingly putting myself in danger . It wasn't until about 5 yrs ago that I finally had someone find out what it was and was surprised when the doctor told me what it was and as serious as it was . So I have been on a better program of life for myself being more aware of my eating habits gave up drinking within the yr of finding out getting some better exercise program going and am in the process of giving up the smoking (it is the hardiest one to do ). Now my doctor and I have tried many many of these drugs for this condition and I mean many all the o/ drugs all the p /drugs and anything else in between and I can tell you that the only one that the doctors have found that work for me very very well is a drug called Nexeum (better known as the little purple pill ) I swear by this drug 100% because since on it I have had very little flare-ups . So I am still tested every 2 yrs for this and it seems to be kept at a standstill but I know that there is always that risk for becoming cancerous but I have a positive out look and have learned also to take time FOR ME and keep me in check and as healthy as I can . And have also learne one other lesson that helps in some cases with Gerd stress and worry are a very big factor in this as well So if it isn't your problem and has nothing to deal with you DON'T MAKE IT YOUR PROBLEM !! by trying to solve everything just because you are the nice person and want to make everything right . Sometimes you can't
So if any of this helped anyone or to the groupsite here I am glad I have told my story
Thank you very much
