share: Non-surgical hemorrhoid treatment
Hi - I saw an ad in the paper for a local doctor that treats hemorrhoids with a non-surgical banding device called the CRH O'Regan System. I went to their website and saw that there actually a large number of physicians offering this procedure across the country. Their website is www.crhsystem.com has anyone been to a facility or been treated with this device?

Hi Anon
Thank you for your question - it's a great one!
This procedure has been reviewed quite positively - you can read more about that here in an excerpt from the Gastroenterology and Endoscopy News : http://www.crhsystem.com/assets/files/Gastro%20and%20Endoscopy%20News%20...
Here's another review :

The benefits of this method are time (it only takes a minute or two) and is minimally invasive. There is no preparation beforehand. The safety record is very good (less than 1% have complications or pain afterward) and the success rate is very high (at 99%).
However, not every patient is a good candidate - your doctor will tell you if you should consider this particular procedure or if another would be a better option for you.
Many clinic now off this procedure so there should be one in your area. Good luck with you decision; hemorrhoids are a beast to live with.
Does this information help you?
