HOT FLASHES, SWEATING (WORSE @ NITE), & MOOD SWINGS can take a toll on me and my family. My poor husband has to sleep in another room @ times because when the hot flashes are intense I need the ceiling fan on. I kick the blankets and comforter off putting it him which makes him hotter. Once the "flash" is over I need my blankets pulling them off him @ times. My mood changes (either I'm crying or feel really angry), difficulty concentrating & communicating, noise sensitivty, AND MY CHRONIC PAIN IS WORSE! I wanna scream but it wouldn't change anything. I really don't want to take more medication. I'm taking SSRI for depression (n remission), Multi-vit for menopausal women, B12 (becuz of weight loss surgery-gastric sleeve), Lyrica & muscle relaxer for chronic pain. I joking say that when I get to Heaven and see Eve, I gonna kick her. I just started using soy based product but its too soon to know if its effective. Being a woman & a DIVA 4 THE LORD. Ain't easy. Keep me in your prayers. I must say I'm blessed because I look good @ 48. Halleluyer & PEACE 2 ALL!

I hope folks won't think I'm Bi-polar because I do know a lot of people. After all I am a Diva 4 the Lord :-). When I saw the ad for disability for bi-polar disorder I was a little nervous for a moment. My only response thought my mood swings was related to Bi-polarism. Who knows, maybe that's one of the problems that women go through when peri-menopausal. Its not hormone flucuations but a chemical imbalance within the brain :-\ !? In the mean time let's keep on laughing and enjoy the "normal-mentally stable" moments in our life. I'm sure the family will :-D.
