Dear Anon
I am so sorry to read you lost your baby. I can only imagine your pain and my heart goes out to you.
A prolapsed uterus is indeed a serious issue in pregnancy. Some women can have their uterus supported in order to be able to carry a pregnancy and it IS possible for many women to have a baby after a uterine prolapse - it just depends on the individual case.
What has your doctor told you about your treatment options? There are many, you can read them here on our Uterine Prolapse page : http://www.empowher.com/media/reference/uterine-prolapse#causes
Tell me what you think about your options. Don't lose hope! And again, my condolences to you, I hope you are coping as well as you can. And hopefully other women in your situation will read this and post their own stories, experiences and advice. Do you have a good support system in terms of family/friends?

Hi i gave birth to a baby girl on the 19th nov 2007 and 2 days later my uterus prolapsed it actually fell out, i had to have a pessary ring inserted and go for lots of physiotherapy but i am currently 39 weeks and 2 days pregnant and have had no problems during this pregnancy, having said that i am starting to get slightly nervous about the birth.
Anon - that's great to know that you've made it full term! Your situation will assure a lot of women that it's at least possible!
Are you trying for natural childbirth or having a c-section? Will you update us when you have your baby, we'd love to hear from you!
Good luck and congrats!
Hi i'll be more than happy to keep you informed after the birth, my waters have broken this morning no sign of contractions yet though
