Susan G. Komen® Central and Northern Arizona (Komen® CAN AZ) is seeking community volunteers to join the Race Committee for the 23rd Annual Komen Phoenix Race for the Cure®. The Komen Phoenix Race for the Cure is Komen CAN AZ’s signature fundraising event, raising breast cancer awareness and funds to save lives in central and northern Arizona. The Race Committee is a dedicated group of volunteers who help plan and execute every aspect of the Race.
The Race Committee is made up of nine subcommittees that each focus on specific areas of the Race including entertainment, operations, breast cancer survivors, volunteers, merchandise, recruitment, host & hospitality, I AM THE CURE® and Kids for the Cure. Volunteers may participate on the subcommittee of their choosing. Each subcommittee will meet monthly from May to October with heavy involvement on Race day.
The Komen Phoenix Race for the Cure will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2015 at Cesar Chavez Plaza in Downtown Phoenix.
