We are all slaves of fashion, we go by looks and not comfort and this will cost our health. High heel stilettos are sure the cause for back pain, but surprisingly flip-flops and sandals without any arch support are also to blame. Wearing them for a long time can cause foot, knee and back problems. Don’t worry about not able to wear fashionable heels, wear shoes with good sole and arch support when you have to walk long distances, otherwise, you can slip into your favorite sandals.

Poor Lifting Technique
Most of us lift the objects bending waist, it's the wrong way to do it. Here is a proper lifting technique you can follow while lifting heavy weights.
Bend your knees, keeping your back straight. Make sure the object is close to you before lifting it, the farther the object, the more stress on your back.
Hold the object below the armpit and above the knees. Do not pivot, twist or turn your body while lifting the object. If you want to change the direction, turn your feet, not your waist.
DO NOT LIFT objects more than 20% of your body weight.
Being absent minded while doing simple daily tasks such as washing dishes and taking out the trash can also strain the spine. You need not lift a heavy object, even picking a paper clip or loading the washing machine causes back pain if you are doing it in an auto-pilot mode without concentrating on what you are doing.
Are you waking up with back pain in the morning? Your mattress might be the main cause. If you are prone to back frequently in the morning or you toss and turn to fall asleep, its time to look for a new mattress. As you spend 7-9 hours a day on your bed, choose the best mattress . The mattress should not be too hard or soft. If it is too hard it will cause, your body will sink into the bed and causes bad posture while sleeping which causes back pain. If the bed is too firm, it pushes on your pressure points and causes misalignment. So, select a mattress on which you feel you are floating in the air.
