there is a great link between manic depression and borderline personality disorder i mean the patient how has bipolar has the ability also to be personality disorder?

I am losing my friends because of this. I am not yet on any medications, and havent visited the doctor. I dont know if it really is bipolar disorder, but the symptoms are quite clear.

What can I do to precent Bipolar disorder from affecting my life?

In retrospect, I've had bipolar disorder most of my life. I can remember as a small child feeling uncontrollably high one day and incredibly sad another.

I was diagnosed at 13 after a violent fight at school. I was in juvie and then sent to a hospital from there I went to and RTC..

I have been bipolar since I was about 16. That pretty much made my teenage years a living hell. As if being a teenager isn't hard enough. My parents tried to ignore it and were in denial.
