in 26 years old and have ddd also i have 2 lumbar disc out of place at l4 and l5...ive been told i need need disc replacement but still waiting...im on strong medication and jus found ...

I have a right scapula injury and a rhomboid strain which are causing me much pain. I also have multiple level degenerative cervical disc-facet disease( degenerative disc disease in neck). Can these two conditions be related, if so, how?

This has gotten worse over 18 months drs cant seem to figure it out severe pain in ear,throat and neck now. extreme fatigue now on oxycontin for pain control.

Degenerative Disc Disease Definition

Definition

Disks lie between the spinal bones (vertebra). They serve as shock absorbers. This protects the spine and helps it stay flexible. Degenerative disk disease is wear and tear on the disks. This wear and tear causes pain and other symptoms. Most people have some degeneration in disks as they age. Not all degeneration will result in symptoms of this disease.
