Oh absolutely on fall colors! There is no better time of the year for photos.
We got our first ever professional family photos taken last week at a beautiful, tree-filled park and the proofs look gorgeous!
i agree the apple places or even just visiting a friends can make for a very fun day!!
I also remembering loving to make leaves crunch ...ones on sidewalks when walking around. I find myself still doing this in my mid 50's !!
i like to take my dogs out for walks in areas where the trees are in full colour or i can see them!
Also makes me want to bake pumpkin recipes or soups due to the cold night temperatures. I Love the light this time of year...one of best for photography!!
I dabble in lots of arts and crafts projects with my daughter. So, one of my favorite things to do with her when this season arrives and the leaves start to fall is walk around the neighborhood and collect nature including rocks to paint, leaves to glue and add plastic eyes too, and so much more. There is so much beauty in nature that can be used to create. Another idea, one I have not yet tried but plan to soon, is bring your child outdoors with a camera whether digital or the box camera, and let them snap photos. The digital camera works great because they can take tons of pics and then see them on the computer instantly. And, you can turn them in to cards, presents, home décor, invitations, and so much more.
We live in Michigan so the fall here is an array of golds, browns, reds and creams - beautiful! The crisp mornings and nights, with warm days are lovely too. I think just looking around where we live is a favorite activity.
Decorating the front porch is a must and I have to say we head to the most fun apple orchards for games, hayrides, fabulous little stores with fall produce and the best cider and doughnuts. Sign me up!
