Why do you run?
Read a great article the other day articulating the benefits or running, and why the sport is actually "addicting".
People run for all sorts of reasons, whether to get or stay in shape, compete in races, stress reliever - why do you run?
Shana,
Your video is awesome, I love it!! And running is so good for the soul - and for the competitive spirit :) Nothing like out running the folks next to you, right? hehe.
I run because I like to push myself to do things that others would never even consider doing. I guess it's the competitive spirit in me. It's not enough to run a 5K, I'll go for the marathon. Not enough for a hike - gotta climb a mountain. But - don't get me wrong, the hikes and the 5Ks are great starts - I just like to see what is possible :)

Well according to my NWHW video on facebook (https://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=10150603422465393), I run because it makes me happy ... but as silly as it sounds, it does! It is an unbelievable accomplishing feeling. It feels great knowing that I pushed myself and ran further and longer than I thought was possible. I did it, just me. I mean it also keeps you in great shape and don't get me wrong running faster than the person next me is also a great motivator to keep it up!
