Hooray for Discharge!
That’s right! I was finally discharged from CTCA mid morning today. It was a good feeling being home. It felt like I hadn’t been home in so long. As soon as we got home, I did my usual surveying the house and then straightening up. For some reason, whenever I return home from the hospital I feel like my place is a mess.
I did hire Merry Maids to clean while I was gone. The whole house needed a deep cleaning from baseboards to the fans. Megan had vacuumed right before we arrived home, so the place didn’t look half bad.
After cleaning, Megan and I both fell asleep for hours. I was exhausted! The only time we left the house was to go to Trader Joes for some grocery shopping. As I was putting things away I felt a terrible pain in my upper back, right between the shoulder blades. It is killing me.
It hurts to do any sudden movements and even feels funny when I breathe. I have to head to CTCA tomorrow to get a prescription filled so I may see if they can do an X-ray to check it out. These days I can never be too cautious. Usually when I feel like something is wrong with my body, it usually is. I guess I’ll find out tomorrow.
