I've been having unprotected sex all September long and my period started two days earlier than expected but only lasted 2 days and I usually have heavy flow but this time it was normal and then on the 4th day i had spotting that was brown when wiped .? Was that implantation bleeding or a period ?? Also my appetite has increased so much I'm also fatigue I've took a pregnancy test two times and it came out negative . Is it too early to take one??

I have similar question...ive been having unprotected sex with my fiance for the past month and he's Been finishing in me. I started bleeding on time and all but I normally bleed for 4-5 days and this time only bled for one (still not enough for a tampon) and the serving and third day there was just a light red/pink color when I wore. I've also been really tired and my appetite has increased drastically!! Could I be pregnant or just having a weird period?

Hi marissalyse,

Thank you for coming back to the EmpowHER community.

It could be too early to take one, that's why you are getting false negatives. When is your period due? You can get the best result about 3-5 days before an expected period and when taken in the morning.

Being extremely tired is definitely a sign of early pregnancy and the brown tinged discharge could be implantation bleeding. I'd try taking another test closer to your expected period or visiting your doctor for a blood test, which definitely will be most accurate to tell you if you are pregnant.

Here is a link about implantation bleeding as a reference for you...
