October 5, 2017 - 4:19amIf you had sex a week before your period is, your risk is likely lower than the previous weeks - if you have a regular cycle. You can take emergency contraception if you wish - that's up to you. There is always some minor risk any time you have unprotected sex.

My menses didn't come on August due a post pill I took,thus postinor 2,it came on September rather so scared to take another contraceptive

You may have the same side effects again but that is a risk you take when you have unprotected sex. If you use protection during sex, you won't have to deal with this kind of aftermath.
