Another "Pregnant? or just Stress-induced missed period?" question

The start of my most recent period was on Feb 26 - projected ovulation date being March 14, projected next period March 28 (via MyMonthlyCycles, where I have been keeping track of my period for 1 year). Average cycle - 30 days.

We had protected intercourse on March 3 and 24. The condom didn't break; slipped down maybe an inch but we pushed it right back up.

Now my period is 3 or 4 days late (depending if you count the 28th), with no usual signs of cramping etc that I normally get. Took two HPT's and both came out negative. Discharge looks normal, no tenderness of breasts or anything. I have had a little bit of an upset stomach but I think I may just be getting sick - I am under quite a bit of stress.

I know it's unlikely that I am pregnant, but I am paranoid since I can't afford to have a child right now. I have heard that stress really can throw off a regular period (I have been regular for 8 years now), but I have a hard time believing it since I am so paranoid... help? I don't know what's wrong with me!

Have a GYNO appt coming up in a month, but I'm the type of person who likes to know without going to the doc! It sure would be nice if my period would come!

Hi,
My case is last month my "period" consisted just of spotting and lasted 4 days and the spotting was very very light and with a brownish color, now this month I finished my pills on Saturday, by now my period should have started but as you might guess it hasn't. On Sunday I had pink spotting, on Monday it disappeared completely and today a brownish spotting began again.
I've been on the minipill for six months now and before last month my periods had been just as before I started the pills.
So I don't know what to think about this delay and spotting.
Help please, is pregnancy a possibility?

Hello Anonymous,

Start by taking a home pregnancy test. Depending upon the results, contact your physician.

If the test result is positive, you need to schedule an appointment with your gynecologist to begin prenatal care. If the test result is negative, you need to consult your gynecologist to determine the cause of your irregular periods.

Regards,
Maryann

I had my period last feb 2. And my boyfriend and I had a do last feb 4 which i still have a period. Days passed, we had another do last feb 25 and he uses condom, thus he withrawed it and masturbates outside. And for march, i had a super light menstruation that lasts for 2-3 days only. I didnt have the chance to change my pad because it only fills about 1/4 of it. I am so worried why period is like that. I took pregnancy test last march 12 and its negative. And i took again yesterday (March 16) and also negative. So i dont need to worry that i'm pregnancy right? Or my oral glutathione affects my cycle? Do i need to worry about certain illness or what? Hoping for your quick response. Thankyou and God Bless. - ms. Ann
