Guide

Hello hey12356,

Welcome again to EmpowHER.

Antibiotics such as Bactrim, may reduce the effects of ethinyl estradiol, which is one ingredient in Pimtrea, in some women. You may be at increased risk for pregnancy or breakthrough bleeding. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist to determine if you should use an alternative or additional form of birth control during or after treatment with Bactrim.

Regards,
Maryann
