Birth control

I just had a few questions about birth control, I'm new to this and I was wondering how it works.

Does taking birth control on the first 2-7 days make you extremely fertile and more likely to get pregnant?

If you're on your period and it's the 2nd day of taking birth control and you have unprotected sex is is likely to get pregnant?

Can you take plan b (because it was too early for your birth control pill to be effective not because you missed it) and still later on take your birth control? Or is that dangerous

Thanks
