If I take my last inactive pill a night late, do I have to wait 7 days to be protected by my next pack?

Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for your question.

It should make no difference if you take the last inactive pill a day late.

You should have withdrawal bleeding during the week of inactive pills.

You will be protected once you start taking the active pills. Continue to take a daily pill at the same time each day.

Regards,
Maryann
