Birth Control + Antibiotics + Condoms? Pregnant?

Hi,
I've posted on here before because I value the opinions of the EmpowHER women who usually answer my questions. Anyways, I've been on Trinessa Lo, a combination birth control pill, for almost a year. I take my pill everyday at the same time, have never missed one and never taken one late. On April 15th, at 12:00 in the morning, I started to experience the beginning of a terrible UTI. I went to the walk in that same day, and started an antibiotic that same day as well. I continued to take that antibiotic and my birth control as normal, and abstained from any type of sexual activity because I still very much had a UTI. On April 20th, 6 days into the anibiotic with one day left, the doctor called and said I had to start a NEW antibiotic and take it for seven days. The next day, April 21st, I started a new, 7 day antibiotic. At that point, I had 9 active pills before my break. That same night, I had sex WITH a condom and it did not break. I've had sex about 5 or 6 times after that throughout the course of my antibiotics, but it's ALWAYS been with a condom due to birth control / antibiotic conflict. I finished the antibiotics on Thursday, then took Friday and Saturday active pills, and started my break yesterday, Sunday. I had sex last night with a condom, but I'm just worried that I'm not doing everything right? My period is due in 2 days and I'm freaking out because I'm only relying on a condom basically. Also, throughout this course of antibiotics, I have had NO unprotected anything happening because I do not want to get pregnant! Sorry for the long question.. :/

Hello Jessicax333,

Welcome again to EmpowHER. Thank you for your positive comment about us and for reaching out to us again.

You did the right thing by having your partner wear a condom while you were taking the antibiotics. You should have been fully protected against an unwanted pregnancy.

Relax and your withdrawal bleeding should happen. Any further concerns can be discussed with your gynecologist.

Regards,
Maryann

Thank you for the reply,
This morning, I woke up with a stomach ache and also lots of belching that led to me feeling quite nauseated. I was also having cold sweats. I don't know if this is due to pregnancy, or the fact that I ate a large dinner around 10 PM last night .. I always wake up feeling bad after eating late. I'm just really scared because I did protect myself, but what if it wasn't enough? My 'period' is due tomorrow
