Hi Im a 17 year old girl who is confused about what is happening to me right now. Please help me and i really would appreciate a good detailed answer. Ok so my period just ended 4 days ago and 2 days after my period ended i had some brown blood in my underwear i thought it was just some leftover blood that got left out from my recent period. But after 1 day of what happened i have a watery discharge with a little bit of blood mixed in but it was mostly sticky clear discharge. Why is this happening? In so scared now because i fear that it is implantation bleeding and i might be pregnant. I am in a relationship but i am saving intercourse until marriage. Im a virgin but me and my bf do other things too but we dont go all the way. Is it possible to be pregnant with fingering, mutual masturbation, or oral. We are always very careful and he washes his hands before touching me if he touched himself before. But im just scared and confused. Am i pregnant? Can this be implantation bleeding?

Irregular periods need to be evaluated by a gynecologist. Has this ever happened before? Are you using any type of birth control? How old are you? Your gynecologist knows your medical history, can exam you, and order any necessary blood tests to determine the cause.

Hello there well my period ended 11/9/14 has sex with a condom but riped didn't notice till he went in 3 and pulled out on 11/13/14 and well on 11/17/14 started agin but it is much lighter than my normall period can this mean I can be pregnet so anxious to find out pls help

If you are engaging in sexual activity that leads to an orgasm then I believe that this is what is causing the blood just after your period has finished. The uterus experiences muscle contractions during an orgasm which might explain the blood. Try not engaging in any sexual activity for a week after your period finishes and see if there is a difference. This is a theory. I am not a doctor.

Hi im 17 years old and i had my period from 21/10-25/10 and had unprotected sex the week after and now i have a lightish brown colour discharge and its sort of watery and very light...could i be pregnant?

Hello Alice,
Unless you have a very short menstrual cycle, such as 22 days, it is not likely that you would have ovulated one week after finishing your period.
However, if your period for November is late by at least one week, take a home pregnancy test. Implantation bleeding is scanty, pink or brownish vaginal discharge that occurs about six to 12 days following conception. The discharge stops on its own and does not get heavier like a menstrual period flow.

Hi I'm 16 years old and I have been on and off birth co from over the past year but the last month I've been taking it and I already got my period for about 2 weeks and then I have it again and very heavy . me and my boyfriend have been having protected sex every time .should I be worried about being pregnant

No, as long as you take your daily birth control pill every day and at the same time each day you are protected and should not worry about becoming pregnant.

I just made an appt with my gynecologist, but hopefully somebody can put my mind at ease for the meantime...
My cycle was from Oct 28-Nov 2. Today i went to the Bathroom and had spotting. I hear alot about hormonal imbalance and hope it just that. See, this morning my 3 year old had a filling at the dentist.. and i cried just as much as he did. Could that have caused the light bleeding/spotting. Please help, my appt isnt til friday :(

Hi i'm 17 and my period ended nov. 5 early in the morning. That night my boyfriend and I had sort of half protected sex. Nov. 11 I felt a little bloated but hardly noticeable, but today the 12th I felt a little discomfort in my abdomen where I usually get cramps and later around 6 I noticed blood on my underwear when I went to the bathroom. Its not a lot of blood more like spotting I guess and now its gone but I still feel some discomfort. This has never happened before, can someone please help i'm really scared. Its also been about 2 1/2weeks since ive taken my birthcontrol give or take cuz my moms insurance changed. Could it be from that maybe? I'd appreciate it so much if someone could help me out.
