Q:

Can I be pregnant?

I had unprotected sex exactly on May 18th and May 19th. My boyfriend came in me twice. My last period was on April 18th. Ever since May 18th, I haven't received my period. I took a pregnancy test and it showed negative. Did I take it too early? But now this morning, I started to bleed. I've read online that women tend to bleed and mistake it for their period but that's a sign that it's a chance that the women is pregnant. What do I do?

Guide

Hi, Anon.

Thank you for posting.

If you have your period, this indicates you are not pregnant. A period (flow) is not the same as implantation bleeding, which is light brown or pink spotting over 1-2 days, typically. HPTs are accurate 14-21 days after sex. You should use protection the future if pregnancy is not desired.
