Within the first 2 weeks of taking my birth control i missed 6 pills...not exactly in a row, it would be 2 in a row then i would double up and miss again after. (Mini pills) I had unprotected sex because i thought doubling up would protect me. Missing 6 pills in the first 2 weeks, am i still safe? Or could i be pregnant? Should i stop taking the pills or wait to see if my period will come on the last week?

Guide

Hello lindseyD ,

Thank you for sharing your question.  At this point in time there is no real way of knowing if you are pregnant or not.  Start where you left off and keep taking the pills every day.  If your period does not come the whole 7 days of taking the sugar pills, take a pregnancy test when you finish.  The result will help you determine what actions to take next.
