Me and my boyfriend were fooling around on the couch, he wasn't wearing underwear nor pants, but I had my underwear and pajama pants on (I think they are cotton and so are my underwear) . he rubbed it around the clit area until he ejaculated on my pajama pants. I heard that sperm can go through clothes. I'm just afraid and want to know from a professional. Can I be pregnant? I usually get my period around the 16th but I haven't gotten any signs aI usually get cramps and discharge before.

Hello, and thank you for sharing your question with the community.  I'd love to give you some helpful information on your situation.

As you know, pregnancy occurs when the male ejaculates into the female vagina during intercourse.  Then there is the rare occasion like yours in which a living sperm swims its way into the vagina from the outside.  It is not likely, but it can happen.

Even though you are not having any period symptoms, it is still a bit early to tell if you will have an irregular period or not.  I suggest you wait a few more days to see how your period goes.  If it is very late, or you miss it, then you should take a pregnancy test.

The best time to take one is a week after a missed or irregular period. Taking a test is the best way of knowing whether or not you are pregnant in the early stages.

Let us know if you have any more questions.
