It was unprotected sex but we used the "take out before he cummed" method. We had sex at 2:30 a.m. April 29. I took the Next Choice pill at 3:30 p.m. April 30 and the other pill 12 hours later. I took a pregnancy test to make sure I wasn't pregnant and it came out to be negative but I took Next Choice just in case. Its been 2 weeks simce my last period. Please help!!!!

Hello kamaine,

No, I do not think you could be pregnant by having sex on the last day of your period.

To conceive or become pregnant, one of your ovaries must release an egg. This happens during ovulation, which is about the middle of your menstrual cycle. The egg must be fertilized by sperm.

By having sex on the last day of your period, there was no release of an egg nor the intact lining of your uterus on which the fertilized egg could attach and develop into an embryo.

Frequent urination, back pain and pain on the right side of your body indicate a possible problem with your right kidney.

I suggest that you consult your physician. Pain that is preventing you from climbing stairs or lifting a heavy item needs to be addressed in person, by a physician.

I would like to know if you think I could be pregnant. I had sex on the last day of my period and a week later I am feeling pain like my period was coming again. My belly feel like pressure. I cannot do thing like I use to do like walking up the stairs and lifting heavy bags. I have back pain and pain in my right side. I am going to bathroom a lot.

It is time to use birth control regularly and consistently. Find a type that is best for you. Condoms are good but can break, thus reducing their effectiveness in preventing pregnancy.

When did you previously take Plan B?
Plan B is designed for emergency use and should not be taken regularly or as birth control.

It uses the same ingredient found in many birth control pills, levonorgestrel, to help prevent pregnancy from happening. The difference is that Plan B One-Step® requires just one pill, which uses a larger dose of levonorgestrel than a single birth control pill.

It’s not as effective as other methods of birth control used consistently and correctly, so it’s important to have another reliable source of birth control that’s right for you.

Honestly, Plan B has not been available long enough to know, if taken too often, what effects it will have on a woman's body.

Hello Anonymous,

Plan B One-Step is most effective in preventing a pregnancy when taken as soon as possible. It should be taken within 72 hours (3 days) following contraceptive failure or unprotected sexual intercourse.

Take it today and you will be safe.

Vaginal soreness and slight bleeding may be the result of injury to the vaginal wall or the opening of the vagina during rough intercourse.

It is very important that you are adequately lubricated before your partner inserts his penis into your vagina. Your partner should be considerate and avoid being overly aggressive. You should be finding the experience pleasurable and not be left in pain.

Thank you. That helped a lot. I've been freaking out and overly thinking about it. He went and bought Plan B today. This is my 2nd time taking it. Does that change anything?

Last night I had intercourse but we used a condom. He pulled out and cummed on the bed. The condom was off and we dont know how that happened and he's not 100% sure that he didn't cum in me.. Might of been a little squirt. He's going to get a Plan B today. Will that work?

P.S. I've already broke my hymen and I'm bleeding a little and I'm sore at the vagina. We had rough sex and I'm a really small girl. Am I sore and bleeding cause it was rough and because I might of streched/torn something?
Please help me!!!

Hello Anonymous,
First, you need to have the diagnosis confirmed. You can spread the infection to your sexual partner.
