Could I be pregnant?

I engaged in unprotected sexual intercourse on April 12. I took the Plan B pill the next morning, being less than 24 hours after. I got my period April 26 & it was a normal cycle lasting for the normal 5 days. Since then, i have not engaged in sexual intercourse. I am now 3 days late for my period. Is it possible I could be pregnant?

Hi Unsure-seventeen,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Anytime you have unprotected intercourse, your chances for a pregnancy to occur are higher. Side effects for most emergency pills are bleeding, cramping and changes to your next period. You might need to take a home pregnancy test or see your doctor to know if you are pregnant.

Hope this was helpful?

Best,

Daisy
