I had sex on January 2nd and took a plan be the same day. I later got my period that month. February came and i also got my period at its regularly scheduled time. Now its March and my period is TEN days late!! Am i at risk for pregnany or is this Plan B messing with my cycle?

Hello Ambeezy

Thank you for writing - I understood what you meant.

You can't be pregnant from sex in January if you got a period later that month and then again in Feb. You should also not be seeing side effects from taking an emergency birth control pill (s).

We can't say why your period is so late - perhaps stress or a change in body chemistry. You can take a pregnancy test to ease your mind.
Best,
Susan
