Hi I'm 17 years old my boyfriend and I have decided it's time to do it. I'm not on any birth control but we are going to use durex extra safe condoms could you tell me if I could get pregnant because of this and I'm not going to let him ejaculate in me

Hello, and thank you for sharing your question with the community.  I'd love to share some information that will help you better understand how to have safe sex.

It's always good to use some kind of protection when having sex and durex is a good choice.  The plan of not allowing him to ejaculate during penetration is also a good choice.  However, condoms are generally 98% effective which means there is still a 2% chance of pregnancy.  Although this is a very small percentage, it is something to keep in mind.

If you are going to continue to have intercourse with your boyfriend you may want to consider an even more effective method of birth control such as pills.  Talk to your doctor in order to determine the best kind of birth control method for you.
