I've been on birth control (trinessa to be exact) for four months now, I take my pill at the same time everyday and have never missed one. I just recently became sexually active and for a little while I was having sex without condom for a few short moments with no ejaculation inside of me, just possible pre-ejaculate. I was worried about that, but I got my period as expected. Anyways, it's been about a week since my period has ended and I've been having sex WITH condoms and pulling out. Since i did just loose my virginity a month ago, we have been gradually going deeper and trying new positions, etc. well, now I'm feeling bloated and I'm having cramps , not sharp, but they are there. I read that this was a sign of pregnancy .. And I want to know your take on this? I'm being as safe as I possibly can be. And I know I shouldn't worry but I'm still in the first week of active pills so I'm confused why I'm cramping so much.

Cramping can be is be a sign of pregnancy. But in your case it is not, because you did not have intercourse.

Hello and welcome to EmpowHer,
September 3, 2016 - 1:44pmYou cannot be pregnant because birth control pill stop ovulation. Without an egg, there is nothing for the sperm to fertilize. Your symptoms are most likely side effects of the drug since you just started taking it a few months ago.
I highly suggest that you see a gynecologist and perhaps switch to a different kind of pill.
