I'm 14 and my periods have been irregular for 3 or 4 months. This month my period is 10 days late. Irregular periods is linked to cysts on your ovaries and my family has a MASSIVE history of these. Should I get checked out? Help please!!

Irregular periods can happen for many reasons, however since your family does have a history of ovarian cysts you should consider it a possibility.
Before I can give you any more detailed advice however, I'll need to know a bit more information. Such as, you are on any medication? You are on birth control of any kind? Do you have any other symptoms related to your urinary tract and/or menstrual cycle?
Ovarian cysts in particular cause symptoms such as: bloating, swelling in abdomen, painful bowel movements, pelvic pain before and after period, nausea, and vomiting.
In order to know what is really going on, it is important to analyze all your symptoms.
