Okay so my boyfriend cM'd on his hand after ekaculation and he washed it all off with hot water and soap and the next day he rubbed my clitorus...I'm so scared incase some sperm was still left in his pores or something I know this is a stupid question but I just get so worried...I have got my period since then (9 days after the incident) and I always hear some people still get their period when pregnant and that freaked me out.....I'm getting symptoms....like headaches bloating and some cramps but I dunno if that's all to do with nervousness or something cause I am so worried...am I at any risk...(all of this happened around 3 weeks ago)...please help me

But isn't it possible to get pregnant If he had sperm on his fingers and put it up or on the surrounding of the vagina....can a girl get pregnant that way or is it always sexual intercourse is needed to get pregnant

Hi again.

A woman cannot get pregnant unless she has unprotected sex with ejaculation inside (or*rarely* on the opening) of her vagina. When sperm comes in contact with the vagina, especially during ovulation, there is always going to be some risk. But there is a big difference btw what is a realistic scenario for getting pregnant and a far-fetched or very unlikely one. I hope this has cleared up your concerns.

Okay thank you so much I really appreciate it!...but how come I'm getting lower cramps and headaches and I looked it up and said may be a sign of pregnancy...(I'm not saying your wrong or anything)I'm just really curious and worried and I have been bloating a lot and I always think it's a baby bump and I scare myself more

Dear Sarah,

You are scaring yourself into thinking you could be pregnant that's why. Unless you had sexual intercourse, you are not pregnant.

Dear Sarah,

Thanks for your question.

No. Sperm cannot survive outside the body for 24 hours. Perhaps, 20 minutes at most. Even so, he washed his hands. It cannot be in his pores a day later and find its way inside you. You did not have sexual intercourse. You are not pregnant. Try to relax.
