Guide

Hello Anonymous,

Welcome to EmpowHER. Thank you for reaching out to our community with your questions.

Pain in your vagina during intercourse may suggest that you are not adequately lubricated. Try increasing the time of foreplay or consider using a lubricant.

You can indeed contract a sexually transmitted disease by having oral sex with an infected partner. Speak with your partner and ask if he has been tested.

Unless you have entered menopause, which means you have not had a period for 12 consecutive months, then you can still become pregnant by having unprotected intercourse.
At the age of 46, you may be entering perimenopause. During this transitional time in a woman's reproductive years, estrogen and progesterone levels fluctuate. You will notice irregularities in your menstrual cycle. Periods become irregular. You can get a period without ovulating.

Hope this information is helpful.
