Is the Fenton's Procedure covered by insurance?

Having to get a pre-cert to get this done. I have BCBS, Gold Plan.
I have had painful intercourse for years. I have tried several cremes, with no satisfaction. I cannot take estrogen because I have had a double by-pass and later two stents.

Hello Anonymous,

Call your health insurance provider or visit its website. Speak with a customer service representative and inquire if your policy covers this surgery.
It would be a good opportunity to inquire about co-payment or co-insurance.

I wish you a successful surgery and recovery, and relief of your symptoms.
