Hello max-max,

No. You become pregnant when you have unprotected vaginal intercourse, or fresh semen is directly inserted into your vagina, within the period of five days before you ovulate or on the day you ovulate.

For pregnancy, you need sperm to enter the woman's body to fertilize a released mature egg.

Hello max-max,

Welcome to the EmpowHER community. Thank you for reaching out to us for a simple, straight answer.

No. There was no way to become pregnant. Having a period proved that.
Implantation bleeding is spotting that occurs about six to 12 days following conception. Not all women have implantation bleeding. It happens when the fertilized egg 'implants" in the lining of the uterus. It lasts about two to three days, never increases to a flow, and goes away on its own.

Stressing over this is most likely the reason your period is so light. During periods of prolonged stress, the body produces more of a hormone called cortisol. When levels get really high, certain non essential bodily functions, like the menstrual cycle shut down.

Try to relax. You did not become pregnant. Your body will get back to normal.

Regards,
Maryann
