Being too wet down there has lost the sensation of having sex for me and my partner. I've heard of using Alum based products to 'dry' up the area but i'm not sure if they're safe or effective.

Hi,
Most couples find that increased vaginal lubrication can enhance the sexual experience. But, if you and your partner find it bothersome, then you need to find a safe way to deal with it.
Alum is used medically as a topical astringent. I would strongly suggest that you talk with your gynecologist before using an alum product vaginally. I could not find any information stating that it is safe for this type of use.
