I got my period after taking Plan B pills even though I just had my period 3 days before.

So a week ago, to the day (Sunday Feb. 5th, 2012 last week), my and my boyfriend has some fun, but he slipped into me for a split second. He came before he did but not inside of me: he came before he did that, and promptly went to the bathroom after to clean himself up. Just to make sure I was not not going to get pregnant, I went to the pharmacy and bought Plan B One-Step two and a half days after, since you are supposed to take it before three days after.

Now a week to that day, I suddenly started to bleed but only a small bit. I also add that tonight, we also had some fun but he did not slide his penis into me at all: he only used his fingers.

I've stil lbeen worrying now that I might be pregnant even though I took it, but bleeding is a common side effect to Plan B One-Step. Should I stop worrying and put my mind at ease?

i took plan B the day after i had unprotected sex after i got off my period, anyways bout 6 days after that i got a guess a period and it lasted for about a week i was suppose to start on the 24th and havent yet, im scared that im pregnant or it could be a side affect of the plan B, some one please help

I understand your concern. Unexpected vaginal bleeding can be scary. Some women do experience spotting after taking Plan B. Plan B contains Levonorgestrel, which is a synthetic progestin hormone.

The menstrual cycle is regulated by the balance of reproductive hormones, including estrogen and progesterone. Taking Plan B while you were finishing up your period probably upset your normal hormonal balance. 

Give yourself one month to restore your hormonal balance. If you continue to experience irregular vaginal bleeding, consult your physician.

Please consider using some form of birth control regularly instead of using emergency contraceptives, such as Plan B.

I need some help here. I got my period around December 21. And right on my 5th day of my period cycle i had unprotected sex (i was drunk and didn't know what i was doing). Next day i went to buy the plan b after pill and I took both at the same time (pharmacist said it was ok). Now its January 2 and I started bleeding again. Im concern, please help!!!

Hi there, so I had an "incident" there was no Cuming in me but I'm not too sure about precum I took NC 30hrs after 2nd pill 9 hrs later. I'm freaking out though, thinking this doesn't work especially if already ovulating. I totally lost track of my period but I get the feeling I'm ovulating. I keep reading and reading and it sounds like from other people experiences it doesn't work if already ovulating even though it clearly says it'll stop fertilize egg from reaching the womb. I'm so doubting this pill, starting to believe that those that give the pill credit for working was just because it wasn't even their time for conception. All I have is to sit here playing the waiting game for my period. Hope lucks on my side.

OMG who just takes the plan B pill that many times? Seriously, get on birth control.

Im very curious about my pregnacy. Ive always been regular id say my last normal period was On july 26 of 2011& Ended on the 30th I had unprotected sex before that period. Got my period no problem. Had unprotected sex after that period exactly the day after wich was on the 31 Took plan b next morning. Five days later exact I get my period again wich falls on on the 5th of agust & done by the 9th of agust. That was my last period. Now.. . . I was supposin it was the side effect of plan b sence thats the first time I tryed it. Any who! I supposed id prolly get my period on the 5th of sept or lasts wich would fall on the 26ish sence thats the normal menstal says me. Acording to my last mestral period before messing with the pill for the first time. I will be 19weeks! Friday December 16 . Every friday im a week more. First pregnacy ever!!!!(: so I guess I wanna know wen did this happen!? They count the starting of your pregnacy sense the first day of your last mestral period. Now id that rite! Or might have I allready been pregnant sense the last nomal period before taking plan b. Im crazy curious. Help please! ("

hi, my boyfriend an I had sex the day after i ended my period, we went out the next morning and got Next Choice, a few days later i started my period and it was just like a regular one that I would have. That following week we had sex again and he came in the condom than we had sex again prior to that one where he didnt come but the condom broke (it was a new condom) Im scared I might be pregnant, but I'm not regular yet and usually i have my period somewhere from 18- 25 days later.. its been about 24 an im getting nervous, any help please?

Okayy i need help, or just answers. I had sex saturday november 12th, 2011 at like 11 in the morning, i took the next choice pill the next day sunday at 3 in the afternoon and 12hrs later at 3a.m. I had a regular period before on november 1st and lasted a week. Then a week later after i took the next choice pill i had some spotting then it turned out to be my period to me, it was light not to heavy but im not sure if it was my period or not ? And if it was my period will i get it again this coming week? And if it wasnt my period, whats going to happen? Or what should i do? HELP!!!!

Susan, my boyfriend was wearing a comdom and it spilled a little bit and i took next choice because i was scared so could i still be pregnant?
