A woman is most fertile around days 10-16 of her period. However, having unprotected sex on any other day doesn't mean there isn't a risk of pregnancy. If you and your girlfriend continue having unprotected sex and don't want a pregnancy, it is important to use a form of birth control like a condom or the pill.
