Hello Aalia Shah,

I am so glad to reached out to us with your health situation.

You must call your physician immediately or go to the emergency room of your local hospital.

There was never a need to take famila 28, which is a drug that acts as an oral contraceptive and emergency contraceptive. There was no need because you were about to start your period so you would not have conceived.

Constant vaginal bleeding for 12 days puts you at risk for developing anemia. You must be evaluated by a doctor.

Hello Aalia Shah,

I am sorry that I did not get to respond to you sooner. It is not my role to prescribe medication. You need to be seen by a doctor. Heavy vaginal bleeding for a prolonged time can lead to anemia.

Anemia is a condition in which you don't have enough healthy red blood cells to carry adequate oxygen to your tissues. Having anemia may make you feel tired and weak. Loss of blood is the most common cause of anemia.

I hope that you are not still bleeding. There must be some means of transportation for you to get to a hospital. Your life depends on it.

Regards,
Maryann
