i had unprotected srx with my boyfriend last Saturday and today i saw my period. is it possible that i can be pregnant ? and if so when can i do pregnancy test after my period ? plz help

Thank you for writing.

It is not possible to be pregnant when you had a period after sex.

Pregnant women do not get menstrual bleeding although they can bleed in pregnancy.

A menstrual period happens when a pregnancy does not occur that month and the lining of the uterus, that would otherwise house a baby, breaks down in the form of blood and tissue. A baby could not survive this so a woman is not pregnant when it happens.
