I missed my birth control pill for 3 days and have started my period 12 days early!! is this normal? do i continue takinf the pill or wait til this cycle ends??

Your period started early because you missed three doses of your birth control pills.

Oral contraceptives contain estrogen or progestin, or a combination of both hormones. These two hormones along with two others, follicle-stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone, control the menstrual cycle. Once you missed the pills, your body got the signal to start menstruation.

Wait until your period finished and start a new pack. Please contact your gynecologist, report what happened and asked if this is what you should do.
