Hello Christina,

Did you have any bleeding after taking Plan B on February 13?

If not, then take a home pregnancy test.

Yes, I bled 5 days after taking it. But thing is I had already had my period that month? Was that another period?

Hello Christina,

That was breakthrough bleeding, which is bleeding between periods, and caused by taking the pill.

Your next period might start earlier or later than expected. This is a side effect that some women experience.

My period is already past a week late. I know for sure that im not pregnant because I took 2 pregnancy tests and they both came out negative. Is this normal? Should I expect my period any time soon?

Hi Christina,

As long as you tested properly, using the first urine of the morning, and waited until your period was late by at least seven days, then you can trust the results.

At this point, I have nothing more to add. If you do not get your period within the week, please consult your physician.

Regards,
Maryann
