Does implantation have to actually be a discharge? Can a period be super light to where you dont even need more than on pad/tampon? Can implantation bleeding last more than 5 days and include no discharge? Thank you!

Hi Kristin,

Welcome back.  Implantation bleeding should be short and brief bleeding just a few drop of light or dark brown blood, very light cramping inside the uterus. If you feel you might be pregnant, you should take a home pregnancy test. Hope this was helpful?

Best,

Daisy
