i guess i have already gone through menopause,i have not had a period in over 5 years.i am 55,my question is i am so dry down there and itch alot
and i dont know what you call it,(my vagina lips are turning white)is there any thing i can do for this.

Vaginal lips turning white does not sound like simple vaginal dryness. I would see a doctor to make sure you don't have an infection.

Thank you for your question and welcome to EmpowHer. Vaginal dryness is a common symptom associated with menopause. Reduced estrogen levels cause thinning and inflammation of the vaginal walls. This leads to vaginal dryness and itching, discomfort during intercourse and light bleeding after intercourse.
An over-the-counter vaginal moisturizer used every two or three days can help by restoring some moisture in the vaginal tissue.
