Missed 2 pills during first 8 days of my pack, had unprotected sex today. Will I get pregnant?

So, I usually try my best to take my pill right on time when my alarm rings, but apparently sometimes I mess up, because i keep track of when i start/finish a pack and I realized I actually missed 2 pills during a 8 days period. it might or might no be consecutive, god knows. All I remember is that I did take it correctly yesterday and today for sure. Then today, i had sex and he came inside, and now I'm extremely worried I might get pregnant...Since i'm short on money and don't want to spend on an abortion pill for no reason, I just want to know if the odds of being pregnant are particularly high or..?
Thanks a lot.

Guide

Hello, and thank you for sharing your question with the community.

I have good news for you!  You do not have to spend money on an abortion pill.  The best thing to do is wait to see whether or not your period is irregular.  If your period comes right on schedule, with no odd symptoms, it is highly unlikely you are pregnant.

If you miss your period, or it is irregular than take a pregnancy test directly afterwards.  That test is the best way of knowing whether or not you are pregnant.

The only time it gets confusing is if you miss your period, have pregnancy symptoms but the test is negative.  In that case there are other things we can discuss as causes besides pregnancy.

For now, wait to see how your period goes.  If its irregular in any way, take the test.  After seeing the results, go from there.

Let us now if you have any more questions along the way.
