I started taking the pill on the first day I started bleeding, I also had unprotected sex that day- I know that I was stupid, and it's no excuse, but it was a drunken mistake. I took the pill after that for about a week and then due to other things happening I think I forgot to take the pill for another week. I was meant to be ovulating on the 25th and I made another drunken mistake that night and I've been taking the pill since. Basically I want to know what my chances are of being pregnant, maybe in the week I forgot I did occasionally take a pill I can't actually remember. Also when is the best time that I can take a pregnancy test?

Hello and thank you for sharing your question.
There are 2 things here that make the birth control pills ineffective for you. First of all, the pills do not start being fully effective till you have taken them every day for a week or two in a row. Second, when you miss your pills they are no long effective.
With that being said, your chances of pregnancy are very high. The best time to take a pregnancy test is a week after a missed or irregular period.
