Missed pills, missed period?

I'm concerned about pregnancy but have unusual circmstances; given my current condition the answer could be obvious, but I'm looking for an insight before I am able to take a test so I can have at least momentary peace of mind. I have been on the combination birth control pill for about 5-6 months. In November, I started my pill pack 3 days late (on a Wednesday as opposed to the usual Sunday) and had intercourse in about the second to last week of the pack; during the last week of pills, I skipped a few of the inactive pills to start a new pack to go back on my regular schedule- I missed my period. It has been about 3, almost 4 weeks since the missed period and this week I've been on vacation. I've been experiencing cold-like symptoms like a sore throat and congestion, but also bad nausea. I'm worried that I could be pregnant but have thought that the missed period could also be because of the offset schedule of recent. I'm unable to take a pregnancy test for about 2 days and just need a little bit of advice or knowledge to keep my head up. Thank you!
